The Texas State dance faculty are a diverse group of nationally and internationally acclaimed educators. In recent years, dance faculty have choreographed or performed in Athens, Paris, Edinburgh, Costa Rica, Mexico, Guatemala, Trinidad, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Los Angeles, and New York.
Our staff keeps the Division running smoothly and happily. They are warm and welcoming, and will assist with anything they are able. We are so grateful to have such a strong staff to support the faculty and students.
The Division of Dance brings in many exciting Guest Artists each year. They bring new perspectives and techniques, and their expertise spans the range of dance genres with everything from improvisation and Butoh to classical ballet, hip hop and jazz.
The Texas State Dance Division graduates are continuously working on new projects, in professional careers, and making the Division proud. Our graduates include a diverse group of individuals that have become local and international educators, entrepreneurs, artists, choreographers, community leaders and much more. We are very proud to have such amazing alumni.
