Our Mission
Our mission is to enrich the San “Marvelous” Marcos community with performance and visual arts. We strive to create art unburdened by discrimination based on identity. We will educate all with an interest in theatre to provide an opportunity for expression and spread the importance of the arts with the help of our community.
We produce 5-6 live theatrical productions ranging from musicals, summer musicals, Public domain (Shakespeare, Greek, etc), plays, and revues for all ages in the San Marcos community. Throughout these productions are opportunities for paid technician roles as well. We are always open to new ideas and are building towards our own theater building to further help the community. For each production our goal is to educate, promote creativity, have an open and supportive process, and produce quality theatre.

Board elections occur on the first Sunday of the new year if you are interested in campaigning to join the Board of Directors. Information regarding that is posted to our social media. To volunteer for a committee (fundraising or marketing) please contact info@brokethespians.org and mention which committee you are interested in joining.
