Camp Fees

Two week residential fee - $1,200
$400 Non Refundable deposit due with application by May 15
Remaining balance of $800 to be paid by July 1.

All payments will be made on a online payment portal at a later time. You will be notified when it becomes available.

Available Scholarships

A limited number of Texas State Theatre partial scholarships are available to students. Students who wish to apply should send a letter in requesting aid explaining their financial need and situation along with a letter of recommendation from their theatre arts teacher. It should arrive no later than April 15, 2024.

Parent/Guardian Authorization, Waiver, & Consent for Self-Administration of Prescription Medication: If your child has prescription medication that needs to be self-administered during the duration of camp, please fill out this form in its entirety.
Parent/Guardian Authorization, Waiver, & Consent For Over-the-Counter Medication Administration: If your child suffers a minor illness, injury, or allergy, please check or include what we might give the camper (i.e., Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen, Anti-inch cream, etc.). No over-the-counter medication will be administered without your express permission.
Parental Authorization and Request of Departure Form**: If your camper must be released from camp for a brief while, please fill out this form prior to the first day of camp. With the date/time detailed on this form, your camper will be released from their schedule for that specific duration.

The University COVID Policy

Information regarding the university's protocols for COVID will be communicated to campers as new information is made available. Students may be expected to take show a negative COVID test prior to moving into the dorm. All specific information about COVID guidelines will be communicated in the weeks letting up to arrival.

Transportation

The Texas State High School Summer Theatre Camp does not offer transportation from the airport. The nearest airports are Austin and San Antonio. Both airports have shuttle and ride share options such as Uber & Lyft.
