24-25 Theatre Season

TXST Theatre produces 8 shows per academic year. These productions are spread across three venues the Patti Strickel Harrison Theatre, the Theatre Center Mainstage, and the PSH Foundation Studio Theatre. In addition to these, the program also produces two annual readings of new plays, the Black and Latino Playwrights Celebration and the New Works Festival.

New Play Development Reading 1: September 7, 2024, at 7:30 PM in the Performing Arts Center Recital Hall

New Play Development Reading 2: September 8, 2024, at noon in the Performing Arts Center Recital Hall

New Works Festival (Jan. 24-26, 2025)

First year directing graduate students present two-to-three readings of new plays over the course of three days.

Play titles will be available at a later date.

This year's New Works Festival will be presented in the Performing Arts Center Recital Hall.

24-25 Dance Season

TXST Dance produces six-to-eight shows per academic year. These productions are spread across three venues the Patti Strickel Harrison Theatre, the Evans Auditorium, and the Jowers Dance Studio. This year, Texas State University will host the ACDA South Central Regional Conference March 12-16, 2025.
